Deborah Dick

Here's an introduction from new Studio 55 member Deborah Dick:

"I attended the University of Arkansas where I received a BS Ed. (72), Masters in Ed. (75) in Art, and Masters in  Ed. (82) in Instructional Media. While in Arkansas, I taught Art K-12 in several schools. After moving to Missouri, I was lucky enough to land a job at Kickapoo in the library where I spent the last 29 years of my teaching career.
I love playing Spades, Kings on the Corner, Back Alley, and Golf with my card buddies, hiking in Springfield’s wonderful parks, traveling, and spending time with my sweet little Havanese (Millie). I have been married for 51.5 years to a kind, supportive husband.
Cindy Bylander has invited me to several of your meetings and I have really enjoyed the programs and the camaraderie - so I am looking forward to being a member of Studio 55."

We had 50+ at National Avenue Christian Church on a bright and sunny Valentine's Day. The presentation by Sherri Davis and Farley Lewis was spectacular. They’re both supremely talented artists. What fun! We were unable to meet in the gathering room so the church was kind enough to allow us to meet in the sanctuary. We are so grateful for their continued support. If you’ve not joined us yet, what are you waiting for? Here are some photos from the February 14th meeting and other art shared by Studio 55 members. Thank you Tracy Bruton for scheduling wonderful speakers.
