Sky Gallery at the Springfield-Branson International Airport has a show now through February 12, 2020. This juried show features members from Splatter, Studio 55 Arts Guild, and Visual Art Association Artists.  Congratulations to the following members listed below and the number of their pieces in the show:

Fine art exhibits rotate quarterly at Sky Gallery and consist of works by artists from the Springfield Regional Arts Council’s member registry, students and faculty of our local colleges, universities, and public schools, and occasionally national organizations and special interest groups.

The Twenty-Fourth Annual Senior Art Exhibition for ages Age 60+​ was a fantastic success  on March 20th through April 11th 2019.  See CALL FOR ARTISTs for 2020 EXHIBIT

Jurors picked 72 pieces out of 132 entries for this show and sale. Special thanks to the chair of exhibit, Dr. Bradley Fisher, for another highly successful exhibit for senior artists. Dr. Fisher is a founding member of Studio 55 and former chair of the Gerontology Department at Missouri State. We appreciate the work of the jurors: Dee Giles, Steve McGuire and Vivian Terbeek, and those that hung the art: Don Letson, chairman and the committee: Ramona Gist, Gary Tebbenkamp, Kathy Fisher, Chris Haik, Darlene Prater, Sandra Letson and students from the Gerontology Department. We are grateful for the sponsors: The Gerontology Program in the Psychology Department (MSU), The National Art Shop, Robert Purvis (Valic Financial Advisors, Inc.) Studio 55 Arts Guild and Copy This Missouri State University.

Robert Kraft:  Photography Award for “Autumn Reflection”
and John Whytock: Juror’s Choice Award for oil painting“Alley Kitty”
