Studio 55 Art Exhibit and Sale
Paintings, Photography, Greeting Cards and Art Prints will be for sale
Artivities Art Studio 209 W. Commercial St. Springfield, MO
North side of the street, near the intersection of Boonville and Commercial, phone: (417) 399-4580
2D and 3D art can be exhibited. There is no entry fee. Artivities will receive a 30% commission.
Members may sell cards and prints too and also handmade jewelry or ornaments.
Guidelines for Art: Each member may exhibit at least 1 piece of artwork. (The guild is limited to 25 pieces of 2D artwork and 10 pieces of 3D artwork)
2D artwork must be no larger than 36” x 36”.
3D artwork no larger than 24” in any direction.

The opening reception will be on Friday, December 2nd, 6:00 and is free and open to the public.

“Music to My Eyes” Exhibit at Maschino’s:
Feb 1 - Feb 29: Nature Center Exhibit "Nature in Missouri" – wildlife, native plants, landscapes
The Springfield Regional Arts Council (SRAC) juried art show featured members of Studio 55 Fine Arts Guild.
The exhibit was at the Sky Gallery, Springfield-Branson National Airport in Springfield Missouri.
The theme of the exhibit is “Studio 55 Fine Arts Guild Shows Their True Grit” and was on display February 22 - May 16, 2016.
Sky Gallery has a series of display areas within the reception area of the airport including the free-standing kiosk designed and built by Drury Architecture students and faculty. The airport terminal is open 24 hours and visitors can park free in the short term lot for 30 minutes.
43 works in oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, collage, and photography were selected for the exhibition, with all work available for purchase. A portion of all sales will benefit the non-profit Arts Council.
On Wednesday, April 13th, 3:00 p.m. there was a be public reception honoring the artists.

Art work for the exhibition was selected by members of the SRAC visual arts committee from digital photos submitted to SRAC.
