Fused Glass Bird Garden Stake Class by member Cheryl Vowels

Add some bling to your garden with your very own bird garden stake! Join us on Tuesday, June 15th from 11 am-5 pm to create a garden stake. Participants will be able to pick up their garden stakes within 5-6 days at Fresh Gallery during business hours.
• Beginners - Ages 12+; An adult must accompany children under age 16.
• Cost: $40, Friends of Fresh $35
• Time: 2 hours

Please, no walk-ins. To safely distance, we request that you pre-register. We are only taking six guests per time slot. Adults accompanying their children for the class are not counted.

Not only that, but you can learn to draw really well! After teaching for more than 40 years, I have seen it over and over again. Maybe you can draw but you want to get better. This class is also for you!

Watercolor USA June 5, 2021 - August 29, 2021
1111 East Brookside Drive in Springfield, Missouri. A color catalog, a complete record of the exhibition, will be available for purchase. Admission is always free.
This is the 60th exhibition of Watercolor USA, a national, annual, juried exhibition recognizing watermedia painting. The event is open to artists from all 50 states and US territories. There are a variety of prizes and this year’s exhibition was judged by Nick Nelson, Director of the Springfield Art Museum.
Two hundred thirty-two artists from 44 states and the District of Columbia entered 399 works. Ninety-six paintings from 95 artists, representing 36 states were chosen for the exhibit.

My show ‘Tropical Oceans’ is a collection of 20 plus paintings honoring the Oceans and continues to be featured at LaBelle Gallery, 325 E Walnut Street, next to Bookmarx. Five new ocean paintings are also at the airport for ‘wide open spaces’

Painting Animals in Watercolor" workshop from me ONLINE, this one will be very fun and extremely well organized, as it will be through Cheap Joe's! The dates are July 12-15. There will be a few hours of painting/demo time, on the 12 and 13th, then a day off to paint individually and receive individual critique and discussion from me on the 14th, then we'll re-convene on the 15th for a final day of painting. "Monday Painters" is a social painting and drawing group that meets every Monday from 10:00 to 12:00 pm. There are no lessons, just a time of working on our art and drinking coffee with each other.
