Our speaker for our November meeting was artist and co-owner of "Formed: An Artist Collective," Laura Ingalsbe. It was an outstanding presentation by Laura of Formed Gallery and Forming Art Studio. There was a great crowd, a beautiful day, fabulous questions, and lively conversation. What an interesting discussion of how Formed Gallery and Forming Art Studio were created.  Thank you to Tracy Bruton for these photos of the speaker for the November meeting and also the photos of members who brought art for viewing.

Our December speaker, Lee Brooks, will share her journey from being an accountant to obtaining a Master's degree in architecture to creating furniture, cabinetry, signs, pendent lights, and, most recently, jewelry. For her jewelry, Lee starts with "castaway" glass and creates the shapes that are tumbled, airbrushed, and embellished.  Lee's website is here, and she also has an Instagram page with more of her artwork.  Lee recently participated in "Art in the Park" and "Art of the Ozarks."

Andi Snethern was among those participating in the "Art of the Ozarks" Fine Arts Fair organized by "Formed: An Artist Collective" at Mother's Brewing Company on November 17 and 18.  Andi received the award for "Best of 2D" at the show.  Congratulations, Andi!  Andi is also one of the Studio 55 members participating in the $100 & Under Holiday Art Market at the Springfield Art Museum on December 1, 2023 from 5-8 p.m.
