"WITH EVERY FIBER"

Join us on August 13 at National Avenue Christian Church to hear from our featured speaker, David Bigelow. David is an internationally known printmaker who you have probably seen at numerous fine art exhibits and events over the years. We're privileged to have him at our August meeting to discuss his life and art.

BAMBINOS EXHIBITS

Studio 55 members recently placed new art in the newly reopened Delmar Street location of Bambinos Cafe and the Bambinos location at Battlefield and Lone Pine.  Here is a link on Facebook to the art at the Delmar location, and here is a link to the art at the Battlefield location. "NEVERTHELESS, SHE PERSISTED"

Dana Neuenschwander shares that the organizers of "Nevertheless, She Persisted" have another show coming up later this year. Use this link to view the call for art. Entries are due September 14, 2025. The upcoming exhibit will be at Randy Bacon Studio & Gallery. 


Currently, they are exhibiting at The Daum Museum of Contemporary Art. There will be a reception and artist panel discussion August 16th, from 2-4 p.m. at The Daum Museum of Contemporary Art. Participants are encouraged to wear “Crazy Pants” in honor of women suffragettes.

Ongoing rotational exhibits continue at Bambinos Restaurant on Battlefield, The Walnut Street Inn, and at The MudLounge on E. Walnut Street downtown. Calls for entries to these venues will be sent to members when the time for art rotation is near.


“Best of Botanicals” is our exhibit at the Springfield Botanical Center and runs from August 2 to September 27th. There are over 50 Studio 55 entries there.

National Avenue Christian Church, another possible exhibit at this location in December 2025. 


Library Station, October 4, 2025 - November 29, 2025. Submission due date will be September 28. Drop off date will be October 4, from 9-10 a.m. Pick up date will be November 29, from 9-10 a.m. More information to follow.
